Mountain View Baptist has partnered with the non-profit organization Vision Nicaragua for some years now in the Relief and Spiritual Ministry of a particular area in Western Nicaragua.

El Bethel, just north of Leon, is the name of the village where much of the community-building efforts have been focused, and a place many of our members have visited first-hand.

With help from people like us Vision Nicaragua undertakes educational sponorships for gradeschool up through adult tradesmanship, support for sickmen and their families, founding micro-enterprise businesses, youth ministry and much more...

Mountain View has helped fund many of the projects going on in and around Bethel, especially at the Mission Site or 'new land' just three miles from Bethel. The Mission House / Training Center is being almost entirely funded by our Church family and is over halfway complete. Thank you to all who have supported financially and prayerfully to this mission.
Among the many who have traveled from Mountain View to Nicaragua and been blessed by their experiences helping with projects and building relationships, there are a few who have decided to invest a significant amount of their lives in the mission, be it traveling multiple times, significantly donating, exercising leadership on the board of Vision Nicaragua, or being an on-site minister / more long-term missionary of Mountain View.
