Weekly Events

Student Sunday School:
When: Sunday, 9:45am
Where:
Mountain View Baptist Church in the Old Sanctuary until the New Student Center is complete!
What:
This month we will be splitting the middle school and high school students into 2 classes. 
The High School Class will be lead by Joe & Sandy Johnston.
The Middle School Class will be lead by Will & Stephanie Cannon.  
The classes are designed to engage the students in lively, age-appropriate messages and activities focusing on the kingdom of God.

Living Dead:
When: Sunday, 5:00-7:00pm
Where: Mountain View Baptist Church
What:
This is a very interactive class setting giving students the opportunity to
lead in activities, games, ministry, and outings.

Lakeview Bible Study: 
When: Wednesday's, 6:30-8:00pm  (Food is provided!)
Where:
Lake Tomahawk, Senior Citizen's Building, in lower level of Lake House building
What:
Designed for teens to grow in their knowledge and practical understanding of how the bible can and will revolutionize their life. We have a lot of discussion in this class. Be sure to bring your Bible, paper and pencil.

Softball Challenge; Students vs. Parents. from 5:30 - 7:00. Bring your own equipment. Field: Black Mtn. Rec. Park

Sunday, August 31th: High Country Praise Festival at the Holmes Center at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Youth event featuring Big Daddy Weave, Rush of Fools, Afshin Ziafat, 7 Miles and more. We will leave the church promptly at 2:00pm and return at 10:00pm. Cost is $15.00.
